Please disregard the "Amazing Bumpman" file. I accidentally uploaded the wrong name, it's under "Colecovision - Amazing Bumpman".

Bubble +

This is an enhanced/improved version of Bubble Ghost, and I bet they didn't fully test it properly before release, as I found a couple of places almost impossible.

I checked out the previous longplay of Bubble Ghost by Hipoonios to see the differences. The two versions only differ in graphics. The levels are designed the same, but now with new graphics.

Hall 09 have a green rat in this version (it's a green head in the other version), and when it dies, its tail sticks up making it very narrow for the bubble to get through. In the other version, the head lies almost flat on the ground and the gap is HUGE. So, getting through this part took like 20 tries. Going through on the top instead seemed harder so after a bunch of tries there as well, I continued below instead until I got through.

Hall 25 was the hardest one of them all. Spent a good 20 mins here LOL. This version has a sword, the other MIGHT have a sword as well, but hard to tell as it's just a stick-looking thing 1 pixel wide and xx pixels tall. When you blow on it in the other version it falls straight down horizontally leaving a HUGE gap with lots of space to navigate through. In this enhanced version, I have 0 pixels of leeway. To get through the bubble has to hug the ceiling with no pixels between them... MEGA hard. After like 30 tries I gave up and tried the above route instead. That was easy until I got stuck on the last beam thingy. The appear and disappears too fast, I was sure there was no way to get through. Next day I tried for a while again and finally managed. Once again, there is NO room for error, you need to blow the bubble at the EXACT time to get through, like milliseconds.

Here's some of the differences in the graphics/tiles between the two versions:

Hall 01: The green monster is just a sign saying ERE (first "E" is reversed).
Hall 02: The teddy bear is a roller skate.
Hall 03: The top blue/green square part is a picture of a butterfly.
Hall 04: The window under the candle is a picture of something, and the left pillar look different and have the top object replaced with a monitor saying "Play", "Hard Ball". (I know it should probably be "Hardball"Wink
Hall 05: The heart is a pulsating head, and the record player is... maybe some sort of thing you talk into, dunno.
Hall 06: The left wall is a wall of flowers, and all wooden parts like this are flowers. The sign says "PAR LA". The blue box at the bottom right is a picture of a blinking eye with a pink background.
Hall 08: The switch is a monitor saying "computer ON", and "computer OFF".
Hal 09: The green rat is a green head and the trumpet is a vacuum cleaner. (the outer layer of rocks are green goo/slime/something, just like Hall 19, 20, and several others)
Hall 12: The thingy with what looks like a green and red button to the top right of the skull is a fire extinguisher instead.
Hall 13: The frog is a dude's head with glasses. The window under the frog is a picture of the front view of a castle.
Hall 18: The wooden boarded part is a picture of a computer mouse with a pink background.
Hall 19: The horn is a whistle.
Hall 23: The lantern is a desk lamp and the chest is replaced with a monitor saying "Play, "Pinball Wizard", "Mean 18".
Hall 35: The picture in the middle is something square, maybe another monitor, saying "Paris we (heart symbol) you". The sky and cloud outside look way better than this +/Plus version, with more colors and detail. It's the only thing that looked better in the Ghost version over this enhanced version. The grass, mushroom, flower looks way better in Plus of course.

The panel at the bottom says "BUBBLE GHOST" instead and have "ERE" (first "E" reversed) in the middle of the panel.

In room 14 you can go up instead, thus skipping 6 other rooms. A shortcut I guess. Same with hall 27, but skipping 4 rooms.

You start the game with 6 bubbles and get extra bubbles/lives when completing the following halls (the manual calls them levels): 5, 11, 17, 23, and 29.

If you complete a hall/level without the ghost turning red, you earn an extra 1000 points. I never care about points so turned red a couple of times mainly to show it off. There's also a time left bonus counter - the faster you complete a hall, the more points you get. I took my time though, it's not a speedrun. You can also earn 5000 points by blowing on secret objects.

If you want, you can always go back to previous rooms. Showing it here 6:16.

The game has no game over stuff. It just goes back to the main menu.

The graphic distortion thingy that happens when the screen scrolls can't be avoided, as it's like that on A500 and A1200 configs and even the WHDLoad version. Same in the Bubble Ghost version.

Some timestamps:

00:00 - Title screen picture music thingy
01:49 - Options screen (showing the scrolling text first)
02:25 - H for Hall of Fame
02:30 - D for Demo mode. It runs smoother than when you play it yourself.
02:51 - P for Practice
03:02 - G for finally playing the game.
