Most people here are very busy with work. Also that your requests might catch the attention of potential new longplayers.

Is Valis77 still publishing videos? I've looked on the 'latest releases' page and it seems Valis77 haven't recorded anything for over a year. This community is in need of more jRPGs :D

No prob. It was my bad anyways.

25-11-2020 20:10
We generally accept both single and 2P longplays of a game, but we prioritize games nobody has done previously.

25-11-2020 13:52
Didn't see you made a 2P Wheel of Fortune. Whatever.

25-11-2020 04:20
It was. I picked the wrong platform in the menu. I'm recording SMS Flintstones now.

25-11-2020 04:18
@Reinc — Wasn't Flintstones on GB done already?

Thanks. Smile And getting old is natural, because I live each day as if it were the last.

Happy birthday KAGE-008. 25 years old is an awesome chapter of life. Not too young, not too old.

So today I'm turning 25. Yeah. Smile

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Taking place about 9 years before the first Kingdom Hearts. The game is divided into three separate scenarios, with each scenario surrounding an individual of the three main characters: Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. The gameplay of each scenario differs based on the personalities and abilities of each character such as power, speed, and magic.

At some point during Terra's scenario I lost some footage so when I went back to record it I will definitely have different abilities and stats for most of the Deep Space and Neverland levels for him

What did you use to record this? Emulator?

KAGE-008 on November 04 2020 19:12:48

My guess is that he used a real PSVita unit to record it. The Vita can output 960x544 just like PPSSPP does on 2x IR.

DiggerandIndy on November 04 2020 21:55:48

@KAGE-008 I was just curious. I used PPSSPP for a few games, but I could only go so far on it. I tried to use the real deal once, but it was too grainy.

KAGE-008 on November 05 2020 16:41:51

@DiggerandIndy — With PPSSPP's own AVI capture (I think it's supported now), there is no need for the real thing to be used for PSP longplays. We only need for re-recording to be implemented and boom, the PSP playlist will get much bigger.

Why? There are many titles that surprisingly nobody has done for the site, e.g. God Eater series, Final Fantasy Type-0 (fan translation works better in PPSSPP), Obscure The Aftermath, among others. That also opens the possibility to replace those old longplays that were rescaled from the (unwatchable for today's standards) 480x272 resolution.

Spazbo4 on November 05 2020 16:52:03

Yes this was done off a psvita, using a katsukitty modkit to record

DiggerandIndy on November 05 2020 17:23:58

@Spazbo4 I used to have a Katsukity PS Vita, but I sold it thinking I didn't need it anymore. Now I'm kinda kicking myself for it. I'm not making that same mistake with my Loopy 3DS if I can help it!

@KAGE-008 I tried to record LocoRoco 2 on the PPSSPP, but it just wouldn't work right, figured the emulator needed some bugs to iron out. That's why I'm curious in the first place!

Valis77 on November 12 2020 14:35:58

I use Vita to record PSP games via Adrenaline and it out puts the game quality perfectly clear...well most games *looks at Breath of Fire III* <_<
